Evaluating the Impacts of Seawater Intrusion on Heavy Metal Mobilization in Coastal Aquifers
This project aims to investigate the movement of salt-freshwater transition zones and the behaviour of heavy metals known to be stored in these boundaries in Nova Scotia via the development of a reactive transport model.
Personal Background:
Owen graduated from Western University in 2024 with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering with International Development. In May 2024 Owen joined RESTORE under the supervision of Dr. Clare Robinson and Dr. Sabina Rakhimbekova.
